Providers choosing to bill services under Medicaid’s IHBT bundled rate must receive fidelity certification by having a fidelity review conducted. Certification assures minimum fidelity standards are being met.
Agencies considering implementation of the IHBT service will first need to seek OhioMHAS IHBT service certification for this service. IHBT Fidelity reviews can be completed within the allowable interim certification timeline. This certification will need to be completed before an IHBT fidelity certification review can occur. Refer to OAC 5122-25-01 through 05 to understand the application processes.
Teams will need to be in operation for approximately 6 months and OhioMHAS certified before a fidelity review can be scheduled. To maintain fidelity certification, teams are required to complete an annual fidelity review.
